A Brief Introduction

With Brain Mind Leadership you make optimal use of the knowledge of how the brain works and consciousness: the source of all our behavior.  However, in many people, the cooperation between the brain and consciousness is not in balance. Hence, for too many people, the brain has taken over. That is, they are mainly guided by autopilot (your brain). However, you can learn to guide your brain from your consciousness.

Your brain becomes a tool of your mind. Instead of, your mind being a tool of your brain.

By learning to manage your brain-Firstly, you are less led. Secondly, you are more focused. Thirdly, you get better results. Fourthly, you can live more in balance. Lastly, you are also able to internalize sustainable self-chosen behavior and act based on awareness.

By following the Brain-mind Leadership principles, you become a ‘More Conscious Leader’ who is- Firstly, More Thoughtful. Secondly More Awake. Thirdly, More Intentional in his/her role and responsibilities

Brain Mind Leadership Coaching is an inner journey of character development and personal transformation.

HOW?

Let’s See! Let’s go through The Seven Principles of Brain Mind Leadership below-

1. What is Your Purpose?

A strong sense of purpose is- firstly a rich source of happiness. Secondly, a rich self-esteem. And, lastly rich self-fulfillment. Ultimately, our leadership must reflect who we are. Hence, it must be aligned with our deeply held values and beliefs.

But, How Can You Apply the Purpose Principle?

To bring the principle of purpose into practice, you will learn to take the following steps:

  • Continue to analyze yourself and find answers to the following questions:
    1. Who are you, and what are your strengths and developmental needs?
    2. What motivates you to lead?
    3. What is the purpose of your leadership?
    4. Who can you rely upon for real feedback and support?
    5. How can you sustain yourself in this leadership role?
  • Foster a strong inner world, including a robust sense of purpose.
  • Consider your purpose is a lifelong journey, and it transcends any selfish interests. Also, your purpose should answer most, if not all, of the following questions:
    1. Why do you exist?
    2. Where are you going?
    3. Whom do you serve, and why?
    4. What do you have to offer?
    5. What are your current and projected outcomes?
  • Try to envision success and purpose for yourself in the following critical areas:
    1. Vocation
    2. Personal growth
    3. Health
    4. Home and family life
    5. Spiritual enlightenment
    6. Social responsibilities
  • Work on alignment between your leadership role and your deeply held values and beliefs.

Conscious leaders are not only guided by profit. But, by a vision for the difference they can make to the world. Hence, Conscious Leaders lead to serve their community and their organization. Also, they act purposeful and full of integrity to earn the trust of their team and the communities they serve.

2. Innovation and Creating Value With a Purified Mind

Firstly, a purified mind of a successful and valued leader will help the leader’s colleagues and organization to integrate peacefully and purposefully into a thinking and feeling process of practical plan application. Secondly, a purified mind encourages compassionate communication. Thirdly, it helps individuals express vulnerable thoughts while maintaining mutual sensitivity and respect.

The first step to practicing effective communication is remaining calm and relaxed.

If you integrate the following- firstly, breathing. Secondly, awareness. Thirdly, observation. Fourthly, optimism and lastly, emotional neutrality into your conversations, a far more meaningful and constructive dialogue will emerge.

Do you know?

Relaxation heightens our visual and auditory skills, which allows us to listen more carefully to others and to better ascertain the subtle facial expressions that are indispensable in the communication process.

Hence, it is through mind-purification meditation techniques that you will be able to build new habits in your thinking and communication behaviors. These practices are ideally suited for enhancing social empathy and communication with others.

But, How Can You Apply the Mind-purification Principle?

In order to bring the principle of mind-purification into practice, you will learn to take the following steps:

  1. Commit to observing your individual resistance to thoughts and emotions and do not judge yourself.
  2. Encourage compassionate communication, helping individuals express vulnerable thoughts while maintaining mutual sensitivity and respect.
  3. Integrate breathing, awareness, observation, optimism, and emotional neutrality into your conversations.
  4. Take time to relax and try to listen more carefully to others and to better ascertain the subtle facial expressions and other non-verbal behavior.
  5. Adopt an accepting attitude and tolerate differences, which allows for greater cooperation.

3. Think Long Term About the Impact of Your Actions and Choices

The foundation in the Brain Mind Leadership development journey is Self-examination. That is, listening to others, to oneself, and what emerges from the collective leading field. Therefore, effective listening requires the creation of a mental attitude that leaves space open for others to contribute to the whole.

As an ancient saying reveals,

“In the happiness of his subordinate, is the happiness of the leader.”

The flow of energy of conscious leaders is focused outward from their inner self-sources and is therefore expansive in Firstly, thought. Secondly, speech. Thirdly, action.

Every human has the potential to function as an integrated whole—a unified expression of the following-

  1. Structural integrity at the level of the physical body
  2. Balanced energy at the level of the vital body
  3. Well-developed learning skills at the level of the mind
  4. Clarity and a sense of purpose at the level of the personality
  5. Loving compassion at the level of the emotions and the heart

How do you assess yourself in all of these dimensions?

Are you part of people who are partly or completely disorientated, with closed minds and closed hearts?

Do you belong to the large group whose systems are toxic at some level—physically, psychologically, or emotionally?

Are you unable to build energy in your system due to an unstable mind, too many distractions, and an unhealthy lifestyle?

Are you feeling that you are making progress, but are unable to maximize your full potential?

But, How Can You Apply the Self-examination Principle?

In order to bring the principle of self-examination into practice,  you will be taken through the following steps:

  1. Take time in silence to examine at what level of consciousness you exist? Which level do you find yourself dominating your thoughts and feelings in your everyday leadership style?
  2. Observe all of your actions and ask yourself-  ‘ Why am I doing this action?’
  3. Observe how you relate to other people.

4. Solution Driven Mindset Through Self-observation

You can learn to grow from an unconscious leader into firstly, a cooperative. Secondly, compassionate., Thirdly, intuitive. Fourthly, a conscious leader through our Brain Mind Leadership Program.

A true leader has the capacity to be genuinely kind, compassionate, and concerned with the wellbeing of his people. However, the most effective skill is being able to think, talk, and act in an impersonal way—’ totally liberated from the praise and blame of others. Hence, in this way, you will lead by intuition and become a creative problem solver, with all of your focus and attention on your vision.

Also, the capacity to let go of the “voice of judgment” is key to moving away from your psychological conditionings and reactive attitudes towards true observation. Moreover, a humble and self-disciplined attitude is the way to true success and responsible leadership. The way to get your job done as a leader is to convince people to stop reacting and start acting.

A leader who leads consciously and does not drive others will create positive attitudes and cultures and will be the best advocate for positive long-term results for his organization.

The capacity to intentionally alter your emotional state through a heart focus modifies the neurological transfer from the heart to the brain. Significant shifts in perception- increased mental clarity, and heightened intuitive awareness takes place.

5. Grow your Team Through Applying the Mind Heart Alignment Principle

In order to bring mind-heart in one alignment, we will take you through the following steps in our Brain Mind Leadership Programs:

  1. Become mindful of the internal self-management system within yourself
  2. Dialogue with your mind and heart as a friend
  3. Start practicing an internal dialogue to help yourself remain aware of the reality within while fulfilling your leadership actions.
  4. Ask yourself to explore, to know yourself, and to choose your habits.
  5. Dialogue with whatever is being observed, including mental objects and thoughts.

6. Revitalize Your Team Through Mind Pacification

The fine line between position and humility in leadership should be attained through mind pacifying exercises.

The capacity to calm the anxiety levels of your mind through self-monitoring and self-regulation helps your mind lead from a clear, stable, and pleasant place. Gradually, you connect to the deeper source of self, thereby allowing the future to emerge from the whole, rather than from a special interest group. Furthermore, you go to this place of silence and allow your inner knowing to emerge.

But, How can you Apply Mind-pacification?

In order to bring the principle of mind-pacification into practice, we will take you through the following steps in our Leadership Programs:

  1. Calm the anxiety levels of your mind through self-monitoring and self-regulation meditation exercises.
  2. Allow yourself to go to this place of silence and allow your inner knowing to emerge.
  3. Assess your past conditionings and observe how these influence your attitudes, perceptions, priorities, goals, and values, as well as the content and style of your communication.
  4. Try to understand your true nature by observing directly without judgment and with open awareness.
  5. Continue to reduce your mental agitation, shifting your attention away from distractions and progressively linking your attention to things of a deeper character.

 7. Keep Learning and Performing From Your Source

Successful leaders always try to strengthen their people and encourage them in their projects. That is, they allow their people to learn through mistakes. Moreover, it is great to stretch people keeping in mind that you should never ask them more than what they can actually deliver. Also, never assign a job that you would not be willing to do yourself.

Above all, the capacity to perform from your deepest inner dimension will inspire your organization to make a consciousness shift from the unconscious fear-based behaviors to conscious behaviors fed by creative and positive thinking.

But, How Can you Apply the Performing From Source Principle?

In order to bring the principle of performing from the source into practice, our intention is to take you through the following steps in our Leadership Programs:

  1. Continue to encourage your team in their projects. Also, allow them to learn through mistakes.
  2. Perform from your deepest inner dimension to inspire conscious behaviors fed by creative and positive thinking.
  3. Offer more energy to people who are in tune with what you are doing.
  4. Purpose determination and authenticity will move your organization forward in a positive direction.
